Business Development / Sales Manager

We are looking for a dedicated Business Development / Sales Manager to drive our business development and sales ambitions – in Switzerland and internationally!

Key areas of responsibility:

  • Actively source new business opportunities and build up vlot B2B client base in collaboration with the management team
  • Development of go-to-market strategy for pension funds and international expansion
  • Active collaboration on selected overarching sales campaigns (insurance companies, pensions funds, banks, mortgage brokers, etc.) in close exchange with the management team
  • Responsible for all sales relevant metrics / sales monitoring and reporting (Salesforce)
  • Preparation of sales pitches and decks as well as demos for clients and prospects
  • Perform groundwork for potential international market entries (this includes market research / feature analysis and network build up)

You are:

  • A motivated self-starter with strong communication and conceptual skills interested in changing the way people think about their financial well-being and passionate about digital transformation in the insurance space!

You bring along:

  • University degree (BS / MA) or equivalent education (FH / University of Applied Sciences)
  • Minimum of 5 years in insurance market or financial service environment with a strong track record in sales / business development or product development in life insurance, brokerage, pension funds or asset management
  • Omnichannel / distribution experience is a plus (particularly pension funds, broker, tied agent)
  • Working experience / understanding of European insurance and financial markets landscape as well as affinity to startups
  • Strong conceptual and presentation skills, particularly Microsoft PowerPoint
  • Experience with project management tools such as Monday etc.
  • Experience with CRM tools such as Salesforce
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Languages: German and English are a must – at least one of Italian / French / Spanish is required
